In this crochet floret stitch tutorial, there is written instructions including a free PDF pattern of a dishcloth. There is a video tutorial of the stitch, too.
This stitch uses the double crochet stitch and the slip stitch. The pattern has a open texture with a closed shorter row.
This stitch works for lots of crochet projects. I have made dishcloths, scarves, cowls, ear warmers, and a blanket using it.
