I have a fabric obsession. My fabric has taken over my craft room and house, I admit. So many choices in all kinds of styles. Choosing the colors and different patterns to create the perfect project is something I invest a lot of time in.

One of my favorite things about running my shop, is pairing the fabrics to create custom blankets. My love of quilting is one of the reasons, I started my business. All those quits, I made had to go somewhere.

#1 Place to Buy Fabric

Shopping on is so much fun. Spending all the money I earn on handcrafted items would be a piece of cake. Uniqueness is what makes shopping on Etsy so enjoyable. Each shop brings its own special touch to it.

I purchase fabric from stitchstashdiva about every week for my shop. There is a large variety of fabric. Tayva creates bundles of fabric to make it easy. The fabric is shipped quickly in clear plastic bags for protection. If you buy $50 or more, you get free priority shipping.

My fabric arrives in 2 business days, unless of course the post office sent it to another city in a totally different direction or state but that is a whole another problem.  If you have any problems, Joe is quick to respond and resolve the problem.

#2 Fabric Shop – Tiered Pricing has a large variety of fabric to make anyone want to add to their stash. There is tiered pricing and discounts for frequent purchases. The fabric is shipped quickly and arrives in good shape.

#3 Missouri Star Quilt Company has lots of both cotton quilting fabric and minky. They ship promptly though they use UPS which takes longer not a lot but sometimes another day matters.

#4 Minky and More Minky

The Minky Boutique carries bunches of different patterns in super soft minky dot. Shipping is usually prompt but I have had some delays.

#5 is part of Amazon so you can either purchase on their website or through Amazon. On Amazon, it is a lot harder to find the fabric you want. You have to wade through a lot of junk. They carry all kinds of fabric, yarn, and some craft supplies.

Shipping is free on orders over $50. They ship USP so it can take a few days longer then USPS. also frequently cuts their fabric crooked. Ordering from them on a weekly schedule is typical. I have had several problems of the fabric being less than a yard after I straighten it. They have sent me the wrong fabric too. It always seems to be when I need it in a hurry too.
