This blanket is for my husband. He wanted a throw that would be long enough to cover his legs to his neck.
Neither of us are very tall so if you are taller you will want to increase the chain to make it long enough.

To make the blanket larger or smaller use an even number. This blanket is crocheted length wise. If you want it to be longer you need to increase your starting chain.
Approx. 48 in x 60 in without border ( 91 cm x 132 cm) Border 4 in (10.16 cm) Total: 56 in x 68 in (142 cm x 173 cm)
Gauge: 10 stitches by 10 rows = 4 in
Chain 128
Row 1: sc in the 4nd chain from the hook, 1 ch, sk the next stitch, sc in the next stitch. Repeat until the end of the row ending with a sc in the last chain. Chain 2, turn.
Row 2: sc in the chain space from the row below. Then *ch 1, sk 1 sc, sc in next ch 1 space*. Repeat from * until the end of the row. The last sc is worked into the space between the ch 2 turning chain and sc from the row before. Chain 2, turn.
Repeat Row 2 until you have 112 rows. Color changes: 16 rows of River run, 9rows of Licorice, 16 rows of River Run, 9 rows of Licorice, 16 row of River Run, 9 rows of Licorice, 16 rows of River Run.
