This soft blanket is a great gift. The quick pattern is easy to make and because of the chunky yarn the pattern works up quickly.
My pattern using a combination of front and back post single crochet and double crochet. The pattern works fast and is easy to remember.
The pattern is a great beginner blanket project. This chunky blue baby blanket works up fast too using Bernat Blanket Yarn a super bulky weight 6 yarn.

Bernat Blanket Yarn
This easy blanket is made using Bernat Blanket Yarn in Lovely Blue. This yarn comes in lots of colors and is easy to find.
The yarn is a chenille super bulky gauge 6 yarn. Bernat Blanket Yarn is a little difficult to work with because it is fuzzy which makes the stitches hard to see. With a little practice you will find it easy to work with.
