Looking for a pretty pink baby gift? A gift that is soft and practical but not too hard to make? This easy free pink clouds baby blanket will be a great project to try.
The crocheting blanket pattern only has three stitches, single, half double and triple. This chunky baby blanket works up fast too.
I was looking for my next crochet project and wanted to make a soft baby blanket with puffy looking clouds. I thought Bernat blanket yarn would be a great choice.

It is a bulky gauge 6 chenille yarn so the blanket will work up fast. The pink multi-color yarn is great because you get lots colors without having to change colors.
I think the pink color would be great for a girl nursery. It would be great for boy a too using the color blue dream yarn.
There are lots of different colors of Bernat blanket yarn, perfect for a little boy or girl. You can easily scale the baby blanket up for a crocheted throw too.
The chunky yarn is a chenille style, so it is fuzzy. My little girl keeps wanting to rub her face against the blanket.
