Looking for a fun craft with a just a few supplies? Mandala rock painting needs just some rocks, paint, and a few dotting tools.
With a little practice, you can make beautiful colorful rocks to keep or give as gift. Maybe you’ll want to join a hide and seek rock group that paints and hides rocks.

Mandala Rock Painting
Step 1. Clean & Paint
First, clean all the rocks with soap and water. Paint the rocks black on both sides. Let dry.
Step 2. Dots
Next, start in the center of a rock with a large white dot. Then start with one small dot on one side of the circle and then directly across from it. Turn rock, 90 degrees and repeat. Tip: put just a tiny amount of paint for each color. Dip your tool in the paint each time.
Next, use the next side larger dot tool in orange. Put a dot in between the red dots. Continue, using a larger dot tool in the rainbow colors until you reach the edge of the rock.
For the rock with the heart in the middle, I painted a large white dot with a paint brush or the largest dot tool. Let dry. I used a paint brush for the heart. Draw the heart lightly with a pencil.
