How to Make a Soft Chenille Bernat Blanket Yarn Crochet Throw Blanket Pattern
Supplies
- 4-10.5 oz of Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn Dappled in Aquamarine or any gauge #6 super bulky yarn
- 10 mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- Yarn or tapestry needle
Abbreviations – US Terms
- ch/chs – chain/chains
- st/sts – stitch/stitches
- sc – single crochet stitch
- dc – double crochet stitch
Silt Stitch Tips
- Chain a multiple of 3 for the chain to make the project larger or smaller.
- Turning chain counts as the 1st stitch of the row.
- The 2nd Row is 1 single crochet, 2 double crochet in the same stitch.
- The last stitch of the 2nd Row is always a single crochet.
- The 3rd Row is a row of double crochet.

Ch 96
Row 1: Dc in the 4th ch from the hook and in each st across. Ch 1 and turn.
Row 2: In the 2nd st, (1 sc, 2 dc). * Skip the next 2 sts. (1 sc, 2 dc.)* Repeat from * to the last three stitches, skip 2 sts, sc in last st. Ch 3 and turn.
Row 3: Skip 1st st (at the base of your turning chain), dc in the next st and in each st across. Ch 1 and turn.
Repeat Rows 2-3 until you have 56 rows or the length you want. Cut yarn, knot, and weave in ends.
