Pattern worked well. Pleased with hat. Did a few of them. For larger men’s size I substituted Caron X Pantone yarn for chunky weight 5 yarn (which is thicker) and increased row count to 72 stitches.

Love this pattern! Following the pattern I tried several rows in the Adult size with the ‘H’ hook, but it was too tight/small for my head so I used a ‘J’ hook, and that worked out perfectly. (My head is 22.25 at the brow).

I added 2 extra stitches for the Tree Trunk to make 3 as opposed to 1. I preferred a wider Trunk. Pattern is clearly written and easy to follow. Thank you for this great pattern!
