My little girl loves dinosaurs and I like crochet, so I decided to make one for her. There are great cute free dinosaur crochet patterns.
I have been crocheting forever or at least since I was about eight. I mostly make afghans and scarves. My experience is in crocheting a straight line.
Not so much experience crocheting in the round like you need for amigurumi. I have made a few hats but that is it for my experience of crocheting in the round.
An easy amigurumi crochet dinosaur pattern, is what I am looking for.
I will share my dino when I get it finished. There are free stuffed toy dino patterns with paid pdf available for some.
You will want to get plastic eyes and stitch markers for your crochet animal amigurumi. Amazon is a good place to find them. I got these eyes.
Any of these cute dinosaurs would make a great gift. There are dinosaur hats and blankets too. Make your own today.

You will want to keep a tight tension when you make a amigurumi dinosaur and use smaller crochet hooks than you would normally.
You will want to use stitch markers to help keep your place in the pattern. You can use a stitch marker to help you mark where you are going to attach the pieces too.
You will want to use safety eyes for your project but if they are under 3 or put things in their mouths you will want to embroider the eyes instead.
