Make this easy bowl cozy. This pattern is great for making a potholder for your bowl, for either hot or cold items.
This pattern uses the easy Suzette stitch in the round. You put 1 single and 1 double in the same stitch and then skip the next stitch.

You need 3 skeins of Peaches and Creme Cotton Stripey Yarn. I chose Evening Seas a pretty blue and purple mix. This yarn is a light worsted weight.

- sc – single crochet
- dc –double crochet

To make a larger or smaller project, use an even. After the first row, this pattern is done in the round.

Approx. size of potholder: 9.5 in x 9.5 in flat (24 cm)

Round 1: In 2nd chain from the hook, sc in each chain until the end. Add 1 extra sc in the last chain. Continue around sc in each chain on the opposite side. Add one extra sc at the last sc.
Round 2: (sc, dc) in 1st st. *skip st (sc, dc) in st.* repeat from ** to the end of the row.
Round 3: (sc, dc) in the 1st sc and in each sc skipping the double. Repeat to the end of the row.
Repeat Round 3 until you have 26 rounds or the 2 sides meet and form a square.
Cut yarn and knot, leaving a long tail. Sew the center seam together using the yarn you just cut. Weave in all ends.
Take the corners of the potholder and pinch them together. Then sew the through the two sides until it is secure for 2 ¼ in. Repeat for the other 3 corners.
Weave in all ends.
