How to Make an Easy Cookies and Cream Throw Crochet Blanket Pattern using Caron Big Cakes Yarn

Skill level: easy

Supplies

• scissors
• tapestry needle
• 5 mm H crochet hook
• 5- 10.5 oz Caron Big Cakes in Cookie Crumble or any other gauge 4 worsted weight yarn 603 yd (551 m)

You can make a larger or smaller blanket by using a multiple of 3 +2 for the chain.

For each stitch you will do 1 single crochet, 1 double crochet, and 1 triple crochet stitch in the same stitch (the single crochet stitch from the row before).

Cookies and Cream Crochet Blanket Pattern Instructions

Abbreviations – US Terms

• ch/chs – chain/chains
• st/sts – stitch/stitches
• sk– skip
• sc – single crochet stitch
• dc –  double crochet stitch
• tr – triple or treble crochet stitch

Chain 131

Row 1: In the 2nd ch, sc, and in each st across. Chain 1 and turn.

Row 2: In the 1st st make 1 dc, 1 tr, * sk 2 chs, in next ch do 1 sc, 1 dc, 1 tr* repeat from ** across until you are left with 3 chs, sk 2 chs, sc in last ch. Chain 1 and turn. 

Row 3: In the 2nd next st make 1 dc, 1 tr, *sk 2 sts, in the next st make 1 sc, 1 dc, 1 tr * repeat from ** across until you are left with 3 sts, sk 2 sts, sc into the top of the turning ch. Chain 1 and turn.

Repeat Row 3 until you have 148 rows or the length you want. The last row is single crochet.

Cut yarn and knot. Weave end all ends.
