This pretty new yarn caught my attention. I thought it would make a great ombre throw blanket crochet pattern.
I love the soft feel and color change of this yarn. It has a fuzzy feel to it.
The yarn, Caron Colorama Halo O’Go comes in several pretty colors great for your or friends. The yarn is acrylic, nylon and polyester, so it in machine washable.

How to Make a Pretty Ombre Throw Blanket Crochet Pattern
Supplies
- 4 – 8 oz (227 g) Caron Colorama Halo O’Go Yarn – in Cranberry Frost or any heavy worsted weight or light gauge 5 yarn 481 yd (440 m)
- scissors
- tapestry needle
- H 5 mm crochet hook
The yarn is marked as a worsted weight but is more like a heavy worsted weight. It doesn’t have the thickness of other gauge 5 yarns.
So if you choose to use a different yarn you will want a make test square to get the same size of blanket.
