I was looking for a quick monster craft. I recently receive a bright set of neon colored Kwik Stix. They are solid tempera paint sticks and say they are no mess. I had seen them in a project post before but had not had a chance to use them yet.
My little girl loves to paint but it is usually a mess. I thought they would make a fun and quick project. L is learning to make circles and lines, so I thought it would be good practice to this scribble monsters kid craft. I had googly in my supply box, so we add them. That was L’s favorite part. She has requested monster eyes activity Several times since.

Scribble Monsters Kid Craft – Counting Eyes Activity
Supplies
Neon Kwik Stix or a larger pack of 24
White paper
Glue (if you don’t have self-stick eyes)
First make different scribble shapes in each color available. Arrange how you want. The Kwik Stix worked great. They dry really fast and are like drawing with a glue stick, which makes it easy for toddler to hold. L didn’t get any on her which was perfect. I liked how bright the colors were. I think they would be great for making a poster sign.
If you are looking for to extend the craft, you can create a more complicated monster with more heads and arms.
Next add the googly eyes. Add as many as you would like. We used the eyes for counting. I counted as L added the eyes.
Have fun making this scribble monster kid craft.
Try out your own Kwik Stix. What will you make?
