Looking for a cozy handmade gift to make? Try this free textured crochet ear warmer pattern. It would make a perfect gift.
The inspiration behind this design is to create a stylish and versatile accessory that can be worn with a variety of outfits, from casual to dressy.
The Moss stitch pattern adds an interesting texture to the ear warmer and complements the unique color tones of the Pearls yarn. The finished product will be both functional and fashionable.
Crochet headbands are great. You can still have your hair up in a bun and not wear a hat.
I like that they don’t seem to make my hair stand up with static electricity either. Crocheted head bands work up fast and don’t need much yarn either.

Yarn Choice
This crochet pattern is made using Lion Brand Homespun Yarn. This yarn has a wavy texture and is gauge 5 so it works up extra quickly.
I picked the yarn up for another craft project. I really don’t remember what. There are art supplies everywhere at my house. I love to make all kinds of things.
I am trying to reduce my extra supplies. So, when I found the tan yarn, I thought it would be great for a crocheted ear warmer pattern.
Deciding that light tan was too plain for me, after I started the pattern. I went looking for some more yarn and found the dark red, black, and caramel color yarn.
This crochet pattern is great for beginners too. I would call this pattern a beginner plus.
You only need to be able to do chain, slip stitch, single crochet, and single crochet in the back loop.
I had enough of the 2 colors to make a matching two tone crochet cowl too.
