The Yarn
The yarn used in this crochet baby blanket pattern is Mandala Bebe from Lion Brand. There are many beautiful colors of this yarn.
I chose Echo Waves Mandala Yarn. This color is a pretty mix of blues, greens, and cream which I love since blue and green are my favorite colors.
This yarn is a gauge 3 yarn made out of 100% acrylic. The yarn is machine washable. My pattern is an easy repeat but it is not a fast pattern using weight 3 yarn.

- To make the item bigger or smaller use a 10+6 chain.
- Work in the back loops only for all the rows. The chain 2 and chain 1 count as the first stitch of each row.
- The pattern is 5 slip stitches, then 5 half double crochet. You repeat that for the entire row. Do that twice.
