Cozy Bradley Moss Stitch Crochet Pattern - Easy Baby Blanket

The moss stitch has always been one of my favorite crochet stitches. I love how simple it is to make, but it creates a beautiful woven texture that looks much more complicated than it really is. If you're looking for a relaxing crochet project that you can work on while watching TV or listening to a podcast, this blanket is a great choice.

One of the things I love most about the moss stitch is that it's easy to memorize. After a few rows, your hands seem to know exactly what to do, making it the perfect project for cozy evenings at home.

Even though it uses only basic stitches, the finished fabric has a classic look that never goes out of style. The moss stitch is also known as the linen stitch or granite stitch and is popular because it creates a soft fabric with very few holes.

I designed this blanket to be simple, timeless, and beginner-friendly. Whether you're making it for a baby shower, a gift for a loved one, or just for yourself, it's a pattern that can easily be customized with your favorite colors.

I've made several moss stitch projects over the years, and I'm always amazed at how different the stitch looks depending on the yarn and color combinations you choose.

For this blanket, I used soft pinks, white, and deep rose tones to create a sweet, cozy design. Every round adds a little more color and texture, and watching it grow is one of the most satisfying parts of the project.

So grab your favorite yarn, a cup of coffee, and let's get started!

The moss stitch is one of those stitches I come back to again and again. It's easy enough for beginners, but experienced crocheters love it too because it creates such a neat, polished fabric. Whenever I want a project that's relaxing and doesn't require a lot of counting, this is usually the stitch I choose.
