This super bulky winter headband crochet pattern is made using Caron Chunky Cakes Yarn. This super chunky yarn has a soft texture and is gauge 6 so it works up extra quickly.
I picked the yarn up for another crochet project. I made a crocheted cozy throw blanket with it but I have enough left over to make 2 cowls and 2 ear warmers.
This crochet pattern is great for beginners too. You only need to be able to do chain, and single crochet. The crochet pattern uses the moss stitch which is easy to do.

Gauge: 10 row x 10 stitches = 3.5 in x 3.5 in (9 cm)
Size: Adult women approx. 21 in (53 cm) circumference (Child size 16.5 in/ 42 cm)
To change size measure the circumference of the head and subtract 1 to 2 in. (2.5 cm to 5 cm) Chain that length using an odd number of chains.

- baby 14 in circumference – Size 12 in (30 cm)
- toddler 16 in circumference – Size 14 in (36 cm)

Slip stich to join chain end to end, making sure not to twist chain.
