I am always looking for a quick and fun kid craft. I am working on Christmas crafts, so I thought a fingerprint Christmas tree craft would be great.
Need a non holiday craft, make evergreens with snow, great for a snowy day. Instead of colorful ornaments make the dots white for more snow.
Who doesn’t like paint with their fingers? If you little one doesn’t you could use a cotton swab instead.
Enjoy making your own fingerprint Christmas Tree kid craft. You can see other Christmas tree crafts, I gathered here.

Easy Fingerprint Christmas Tree Kid Craft How to
Supplies
- acrylic paint – green, brown, orange, red, white, and yellow – great set
- Paper- white and blue
- glue
- apron – acrylics don’t wash out of clothes very well
1. Glue the blue paper to the white. Leaving enough white to look like snow. You could also use either a white piece of paper or blue and paint either the sky or the snow. Let the paper dry.
2. Put a little of each paint on a small plate or palette. You don’t need much. Lightly dip you finger into the brown paint and use about 4 prints to make a tree trunk for your trees.
3. Next, use the 2 greens to make prints in a shape of a triangle right above the tree trunks. You can do them in rows or randomly. Let dry.
4. Using the white create different prints for the snowflakes. Let dry.
5. If you have making the winter trees, you are finished. For the Christmas trees, add different colored dots for the Christmas ornaments. Let dry and enjoy.
