I love Christmas trees. I always enjoy getting out all of the ornaments, turning on some carols and decorating the tree with my mom. We are looking for forward to decorating the tree with my little girl this year. We need to dig the Christmas tree out of storage and buy some more ornaments.
After Thanksgiving, which is next week, we will put the tree up. So, I have been thinking about Christmas trees and I created this pretty and easy tissue paper Christmas tree kid craft. Looking for a winter tree craft instead, you could do it in greens or call it a modern tree.

Tissue Paper Christmas Tree Craft How to
Supplies
- Clear Con-tact paper
- Tissue Paper
- scissors
- sharpie marker
- hole punch
- ruler
- optional -white and blue paper for the landscape picture
First, cut 4 – 6 in squares out of the Con-Tact paper. Find the center of the square and draw a trunk with the marker 1/2 in from the center and 1 in tall. See picture.
Then draw the line out to the edge from the trunk on both sides. Then draw each side up to the center of the top edge. I drew on the paper side and traced on to the plastic but you can draw on the other side.
Punch holes out of white paper for the snow. Peel the paper off the clear plastic. Add the white paper dots to the clear plastic for the snow, randomly.
Next, start sticking on the squares making sure to cover all of the clear area to the maker line. I used the precut squares but you could cut 1 in squares. The squares, I got made it really easy though and I have a tons for other projects.
Peel the paper, off another piece of Con-tact paper and place it on top of the tree starting at the top of tree and slowing stick it to the tree. Finally, cut the tree out making sure to cut the black marker line off.
