How to Make a Bernat Yarn I Love Fall Chunky Blanket Crochet Pattern

Supplies

• Scissors
• tapestry needle
• N, 9 mm crochet hook
• 1 – 10.5 ball Bernat Blanket Yarn – Pumpkin Spice or any super bulky gauge 6 yarn (220 yd)
• 1- 10.5 ball Bernat Blanket Yarn – Deep Sea or any super bulky gauge 6 yarn (220 yd)
• 1- 10.5 ball Bernat Blanket Yarn – Orange Leaf or any super bulky gauge 6 yarn (220 yd)
• 1- 10.5 ball Bernat Blanket Yarn – Crimson or any super bulky gauge 6 yarn (220 yd)
• 1- 10.5 ball Bernat Blanket Yarn – Sunsoaked or any super bulky gauge 6 yarn (220 yd)

Abbreviations – US Term

• ch – chain
• yo – yarn over
• sc – single crochet
• dc – double crochet

Gauge: 3 box stitches x 3 rows (2-3 rows) = 7 in x 7 in (17.8 cm)

You can make a larger or smaller blanket by using a chain in a multiple of 5, then add 3.

Pumpkin Spice

Row 1:  sc in the second chain from the hook and in each stitch across. Ch 1 and turn.

Row 2: sc in the first two stitches, ch 3, skip the next three stitches, sc in the next two stitches. Repeat to the end. Your last two stitches will be two sc. ch 3 and turn.

Row 3: dc 5 into each space that the chain 3 made all the way across. End with one dc in the last sc of the row below. Ch 1 and turn

Repeat Row 2-3, following the color pattern below. End with row 3. Then do one row of sc.

5 stripes of pumpkin spice, 1 stripe of deep sea, 5 stripes of crimson, 1 stripe of orange leaf, 5 stripes of sunsoaked, 1 stripe of crimson, 5 stripes rows of deep sea, 1 stripe of sunsoaked, 5 stripes of orange leaf, plus one more row of single crochet in orange leaf to finish.
