I love the colors of fall. It is a perfect time to enjoy the outdoors without the heat.
Create this sponge painted fall tree kid craft with a paper plate, paint, cardboard, sponge, and glue for some fall fun.
This is an easy and fun craft using household supplies. My little girl loves to paint, so any project that she gets to paint anything is an success. It it is usually mess too. If you have the same problem, try this bib. It is great for keeping your baby clean while eating and great for your little artist.
Pair this sponge painted fall tree kid craft with a book for some reading and creating fun. Try Fletcher and the Falling Leaves.

Sponge Painted Fall Tree Kid Craft
Supplies
2- paper plates
red, green, orange, brown, and yellow paint
glue stick or liquid glue
scissors
piece of cardboard
sponge
Step 1.
Using a pair of scissors, cut 4 ovals out of the sponge. Cut a narrow rectangular sponge from one edge.
Step 2.
Pour small puddles of each of the paint colors on a plate. Dip the long rectangle sponge in the brown paint. Stamp the sponge on the cardboard to cover.
Step 3.
Use a leaf shaped sponge for each color. Start with brown and stamp leaves on the paper plate. I started with brown and then layered the other colors one at a time on top, making sure to cover the entire plate and edge.
Step 4.
When the paint on the paper plate is dry glue the plate to the top of the cardboard trunk.
