Halloween is next week. I received a set of neon Kwik Stix and decided to use them in to make a colorful witch puppet kid craft. Gather a few supplies, small plates, kwik stik, glue, and a popsicle stick. You can make a puppet for some creative Halloween play.

Witch Puppet Kid Craft
Supplies
- paper plate – I used small size
- Glue (if you don’t have self-stick eyes)
- Neon Kwik Stix or a larger pack of 24
- jumbo craft sticks
- scissors
First color the outside of a plate orange and the center green. Next, Draw the face using the black. If you use the Kwik Stix, you will want to use the edge for the nose.
Then cut the orange part into fringe about a 1/8 in. straight down for the bottom, then at an angle for the sides. Cut the top straight too. Fold the top pieces down. Glue in place. Where the straight and angled pieces meet cut out the triangle. Color the top folded pieces orange.
Take another paper plate and cut straight across the bottom. Then cut from each side to the top middle and create a triangle. Color the hat. I colored the hat purple with a pink band.
Next, glue the hat to the top of the witch’s head.
Use another plate and fold the two sides in. This makes the arms. Cut at the bottom fold of each arm a triangle with a curve where the hand will be. Glue arms down. Let dry. Color arms and body. Glue head to body and let dry. Then glue craft stick to the back of the body about ½ of the stick attached to the body. Let dray. Enjoy your witch puppet kid craft. Perfect for a Halloween theater.
