We carved a cute pumpkin this week for Halloween and put a little tea light in it. L was very excited to pick a pumpkin and make a jack-o-lantern. That gave me the idea to do another jack-o-lantern kid craft.
I have seen lots of cute jack-o-lanterns, so we decided to make this paper roll jack-o-lantern kid craft. This craft is not hard but does require some patience in how many paper rolls you need. It is similar to the art of paper quilling.
This is an easy and fun jack-o-lantern kid craft using just a few supplies. Create this paper pumpkin patch kid craft with a pair of scissors, glue, and paper for some Halloween fun.

Paper Jack-O-Lantern Kid Craft
Supplies
- blue, orange and green paper
- scissors
- glue
- optional rotary cutter, ruler, and mat
Step 1.
Cut up the orange paper into 1/2 in strips.

Step 2.
Next, take an orange strip and glue the one in to the other. Then roll the orange paper strips around the pencil. Let me loosen out and glue the end of the paper to the top of the circle.
Hold until it dries. Repeat until you have enough rolls.
Step 3.
Next, put all the orange paper rolls. in the circle you made with the first strip. Continue making paper rolls until you have enough. After you have enough rolls, glue the them to the background paper.
Step 4.
Cut a strip of green paper about 1/2 in wide. Fold the strip into a square and keep folding it around the original square.
