- yo – yarn over
- ch- chain
- sc – single crochet
- st– stitch
Special Stitch - Bean Stitch - Insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop (2 loops on hook), yarn over in same stitch and pull up a loop (4 loops on hook), yarn over in same stitch once more and pull up a loop (6 loops on hook), yarn over and pull through all 6 loops on hook, chain 1 to complete stitch. Every bean stitch is finished with a chain 1.
Expert Tips for Dishcloth Pattern
- You can make a larger or smaller crochet dishcloth or a blanket by using an even number for the chain.
- The cotton yarn is easy to split so you have to be careful when you pull up a loop.
- When you yarn over and pull up a loop for the stitch make them all the same height.

Finishing
Cut yarn and knot. Weave in all ends. When weaving in ends go up and down through the stitches.
