Create this mosaic apple kid craft with a little paper and glue for some fall fun. I love the taste of crisp fresh apples.
When we were kids we would go to a local farm and pick apples and get other fresh fruits and vegetables. I loved frozen apple cider too. Apples make me think of fall and cooler weather.
Paper plate crafts are great. I keep a stack with my craft supplies. There are all kinds of different crafts you can make. I make an apple tree with a paper plate too.
How to Make a Paper Mosaic Apple Kid Craft
Supplies
- paper plate
- red, green, and pink paper
- glue stick or liquid glue
- scissors
Step 1.
Cut 1 strip of brown. Cut 2 strips of green and several of pink and red. I made my strips about 1/4 in wide. I would suggest wider strips so they are easier to pick up. A bowl to put them in would be a good idea too. After you finish the strips, cut them into squares.
Step 2.
Cut an apple shape out of paper plate. Draw it out if needed. Cut enough off to round the paper plate into an apple. Cut a big enough piece for a mall leaf and stem.
Step 3.
Using either the glue stick or liquid glue work in small areas and glue the squares on the plate. Red, pink, and green for the apple body. Green for the leaf and brown for the stem. To make it look like a mosaic you will want to leave white space in between the pieces. Enjoy.
