Lately I have seen the tips of the spring flowers popping up. No tulips yet but they will soon be on the way. Tulips are one of my favorite spring flowers. This easy free printable tulip template craft for kids would be a great way to celebrate the start of spring.
This printable flower template craft project would be great for preschoolers and older.
Toddlers could paint the tulip but tracing with the glue would be hard. You could have toddlers paint the printable tulip template PDF and skip the glue.
You could use this as a free printable flower coloring page or turn it into a flower collage arts and craft project.

How to Make a Printable Tulip Template Craft for Kids
Supplies
- tulip flower printable template PDF – get printable at the bottom of post
- White Card stock
- Watercolors with brush or try these bright liquid watercolors
- Glitter Gun Pens
- a cup of water
- First, print out the free tulip flower printable on white card stock. The link is at the end of the how to.
2. Then, trace the outline of the tulip with your choice of glitter glue. The glitter glue worked best if you press at the end then use two fingers to push the glue out. Let the glitter glue dry.
3. Don’t have glitter glue pens, you could use glue to trace and then shake glitter on the glue and let dry.
Next, paint the inside of the tulip and leaves with the watercolors. Let dry. Enjoy.
You could make several and make a garden of glittery tulips. You could start with the watercolors first, but my little one could wait to use the glitter glue. Who doesn’t love glitter.
