• 1-5 oz (140 g) Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick Yarn in Seashell 87 yd (80 m) or any super bulky gauge #6 yarn
• 8 mm/ L crochet hook
• yarn needle or tapestry needles
• scissors

• You need an odd number for the chain to make the cowl larger or smaller.
• Change colors after each row.
• Carry the yarn up the rows. The yarn will be hidden on the inside.

Cowl Written Pattern

Ch 61 slip stitch to the first chain (making sure not to twist the chain)

Round 2: dc in the 2^nd st and in each st. Slst to the 1^st st of the round. Change color. Chain 1.

Round 3: fptr in the 1^st st of 2 rows below. *Skip the st above the fptr. Sc in the next st.* Repeat ** ending with sc. Slst to the 1^st st of the round. Change color. Chain 3.

Round 4: dc in the 2^nd st and in each st. Slst to the 1^st st of the round. Change color. Chain 1.

Round 5: fptr in the 2nd st of 2 rows below. *Skip the st above the fptr. Sc in the next st.* Repeat **. Slst to the 1^st st of the round. Change color. Chain 3.

Repeat Round 2-5 until you have 10 rows or the height you want.
