This pattern using super bulky yarn for the main part of the chunky cowl. Then there is a smaller gauge yarn for the color peaking throw the spaces.
This super chunky yarn cowl is made using Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick in Seashell. The color peaking through the spaces is Lion Brand Homespun yarn in Celestial Stripes. The Homespun yarn is a category #5 yarn.
These two yarns combine to make a pretty and warm chunky cow. There are lots of colors for both yarns, so pick your favorites and make your own unique warm cowl.
With bulky yarn this easy crochet pattern works up quickly. You need about 1/2 of a skein of the Wool Ease and 1/3 of the skein of the Homespun Yarn.
