Using the same yarn I did to make this chunky headband, I decided to make a cranberry chunky crochet cowl pattern to match. I used two skeins to make the set of ear warmer and the cowl.
Cowls are great. They keep your neck warm without getting in the way. This is a cushy soft cowl with great texture.
This crochet cowl pattern is made using Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick Yarn . This yarn has a wavy texture and is gauge 6 so it works up extra quickly.
This pattern works up fast and only uses the half double herringbone crochet stitch. It is a soft bulky yarn that works up easily.
You can make this pattern in no time. There are lots of pretty colors of yarn available.
This pattern is great for beginners too. I would call this pattern a beginner plus. You only need to be able to do chain, and half double herringbone stitch, which is an easy variation of the half double crochet stitch.
