Abbreviations – US Terms
- yo – yarn over
- ch– chain
- dc – double crochet
- st– stitch
For the crossed double stitch, you skip one stitch and double crochet in the next. Then you go back and double crochet in the stitch you skipped.
You can make a larger or smaller dishcloth or a blanket by using an odd number + 3 for the chain. Turning chain counts as first stitch of the row.

Row 1: dc 4th chain from hook. dc in each stitch across. Chain 3 and turn.
