The arruga stitch crochet pattern uses single and double crochet stitches. There are front and back post stitches too.
I enjoy trying the stitch out in a small easy project. Using Lily Sugar’n Cream Yarn in , I made an easy solid color dishcloth pattern.
I chose Lily Sugar N Cream Yarn. This easy to get yarn comes in lots of different colors.
You can use as a square dishcloth as a cleaning cloth, dish towel, or wash cloth. They work great and are durable.

These are great gifts too. You can choose a color to go with their décor or a neutral that would go with anyone’s style. They are practical too.
I been making all kinds of different dishcloths, Quick Crochet Dishcloth Free Pattern V Stitch, 123 sedge stitch dishcloth Pattern,

Abbreviations – US Terms
- ch– chain
- dc– double crochet stich
- sc – single crochet stich
- bpsc – back post single crochet stitch
- fpsc – front post single crochet stitch
- st– stitch
You can make a larger or smaller dishcloth or a blanket by using an even number for the chain. Turning chain counts as first stitch of the row.

Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook and each ch across, turn.
