Crocheted up very quickly which was good since I kept ripping it back to customize length. I used leftover super bulky blanket yarn so the guage was guesswork but it came out perfect! Those pockets will be a godsend this winter when I’m scraping ice off my car!

The pattern looks a bit intimidating at first glance, but once you get going it’s pretty easy to follow. I had a bit of trouble with my gauge swatch (I’m not a good swatcher!), asked for some tips and got a quick response.
Once I got going the hood was a snap to make. I’ve made two of them and will probably make more for gifts.
Love it! I sized a size 6 yarn, so that it would be chunky enough for a flannel liner inside the hood. Worked out well!
