Try this easy crochet washcloth pattern. The Modern Wave Stitch Crochet Washcloth Pattern is a combination of basic stitches in a easy repeat.
This crocheting pattern uses the slip stitch and the half double crochet stitch. You repeat 5 of each stitch alternating for 2 rows. Then you start with the other stitch for 2 rows.
The pattern is not complicated but it is slow to work it because of the slip stitch. You do not gain much height per row.
Lion Brand 24/7 Yarn
Cotton yarn has great durability and will not wear out easily. It is a good choice for kitchen items.
Choose among 37 colors available in worsted weight with mercerization process giving it incredible colorfastness over time, as well as, a sheen which makes them last longer than regular cottons without sacrificing comfort or quality.
I decided to go with the with the Rose Pink and Dragonfly. I like the contrast of the two colors.
The yarn is made of 100% cotton and has a smooth texture. This cotton is easy to work with.
