Looking for a soft modern chunky throw? An easy textured blanket that works up quickly? This modern chunky crochet blanket pattern will be a great project to try.
It only has several basic crochet stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, treble crochet, and chain. This chunky crochet blanket works up fast too. It is a thick blanket perfect for cold weather.
I was looking for my next crochet project and wanted to make a soft chunky neutral throw with using Premier Mega Tweed Yarn. There are quite a few choices of colors.
The Yarn
I love the classic color of this Cream Mega Tweed Yarn. It is a bulky gauge 6 yarn so the blanket will work up fast.
This modern thick yarn has touches of browns mixed in with the cream. This gives the yarn the tweed look. This yarn is acrylic which is great if you are allergic to wool.
