It uses the single crochet together stitch.
You can use as a square crochet dishcloth as a cleaning cloth, dish towel, or wash cloth. They work great and are durable.
This crochet stitch makes a flower like pattern. It is a simple repeat, great for watching TV and crocheting. It is a easy stitch with great texture.
I chose Lily Sugar N Cream Yarn. I like that it is easy to get.
The yarn comes in lots of different colors. I picked Soleil Ombre which is a bright mix of yellow and oranges.
These are great gifts too. You can choose a color to go with their décor or a neutral that would go with anyone’s style. They are practical too.

How to Make a Free Cotton Trinity Stitch Easy & Quick Crochet a Dishcloth Pattern

- Scissors
- tapestry needle
- H/8 5 mm Crochet Hook
- 1 – 3 oz Lily Sugar n Cream in Over the Rainbow or any other worsted weight cotton yarn approx
Crochet a Dishcloth Pattern – Trinity Stitch
Abbreviations – US Terms
- yo – yarn over
- ch– chain
- sc3tog– single crochet 3 together
- st– stitch
Special stitch: sc3tog– Begin in same stitch as previous stitch worked. Insert hook back into previous stitch, yo, pull up loop. (insert hook in next st, yo, pull up loop) Repeat twice. Yo, pull through all 4 loops on hook.
You can make a larger or smaller crochet dishcloth or a blanket by using a multiple of 2 for the chain.

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc3tog starting in the same ch as the previous st. *Ch 1, sc3tog starting in the same ch as last leg of previous cluster. Repeat from * across. Sc in same ch as last leg of the previous sc3tog. Chain 1 and turn.
Row 2: sc in same st as turning chain. Sc3tog starting in same st as previous sc and then continuing in the top of the next sc3tog and ch 1 space. *Ch 1, sc3tog starting in the same st last leg of previous sc3tog. Repeat from * across. Sc in same st as last leg of previous sc3tog. Chain 1 and turn
Repeat Row 2 until you have 26 rows or the dishcloth is square. Cut and knot yarn. Weave in ends, using a tapestry needle.
