Learn how to crochet a stripes scarf. This Free Up and Down Stripes Scarf Crochet Pattern is available as a free PDF too.
Crochet scarf patterns are great. Crocheted scarves keep you warm. Pair this striped yarn scarf with a matching hat for a great set.
The crochet stitch used in this striped crochet scarf pattern is the interlocking block stitch. The pattern is a two row repeat after you set it up. This crochet stitch makes up and stripe with great texture.
You can wrap this scarf around several times for extra warmth. This scarf has a tight woven textured to help keep the wind out.
The Yarn
The yarn used in this crochet scarf pattern is Mandala from Lion Brand. There are many beautiful colors of this yarn.
I chose Centaur and Warlock Mandala Yarn. This color is a pretty mix of reds, browns, tans, purples and golds.
This yarn is a gauge 3 yarn made out of 100% acrylic. The yarn is machine washable.
