Using the same yarn I did to make a chunky hat, I decided to make a twisted lines free chunky crochet cowl pattern to match.
This crochet chunky cowl pattern is made using Lion Brand Roving Tweed in Grey. This yarn has a roving texture and is gauge 5 so it works up quickly.
Crocheted chunky cowls are great. They keep you warm and work up fast. This is a cushy soft cowl with great texture.
This crochet pattern works up fast using the mini cable stitch. I made a crocheted dishcloth, Mini Cable Stitch Dishcloth, that you can try out the crochet stitch with.
You can make this crochet pattern in no time. There are lots of pretty colors of yarn available.
This crochet pattern is easy and with a simple repeat. After you have mastered the single crochet together stitch, this hat will be a quick crochet project.
I have made a few other free cowl crochet patterns that you can try: Moss Stitch Crocheted Chunky Cowl, Candy Cane Neck Warmer Pattern, Up and Down Cowl, and Cranberry Bulky Crochet Cowl Pattern.
