This chevron crochet blanket pattern is a variation of the traditional ripple crochet blanket pattern. I have added bobbles to give it a unique modern pattern. This chunky throw blanket works up fast too using super bulky yarn.
I was looking for my next crochet project and wanted to make a soft chunky blanket using the ripple or wave pattern. I thought Bernat blanket yarn would be a great choice. It is a bulky gauge 6 yarn so the blanket will work up fast. The vintage white yarn is great because it would go with anyone’s décor.
There are lots of different colors of Bernat blanket yarn, perfect for anyone’s decor. You can easily scale down for a chunky baby blanket too. The yarn is a chenille style, so it is fuzzy. My little girl keeps wanting to rub her face against the blanket.

I am confused with some of directions and was wondering if you could clarify. First it says to make a chain that is a multiple of 33+3. 136 is listed as your starting chain. Is this a typo or did you do 4x33+4? Also, for row 1 is says when you finish 13 there should be 2 extra chains. Is 13 supposed to be 15? Or am I missing something? Any help you can provide would be very appreciated!

You are correct it is an error on my part. it should be chain 135 and finish the 15 there should be 2 extra.
